Makayla Dawn formed in 1997  when two brothers (John and Chris) and two high school friends from Youngstown, Ohio decided to form a band.  After several drummer changes, and the recent departure of the singer Chris along with fixing some personal issue's they are stronger than ever, and carrying on as a 3 piece. John, Mike, and Tim have all been in other bands, but nothing has felt as right as the three of them together. This will be heard in the music, and seen with the energy that they have on stage.

    We want to bring back the music that we grew up with, a time when you went to a show to see a show, to see musicians who could play, make it look fun, and give you your money's worth.  Our music style is one of 80's and 90's hard rock.
